From tender preparation to project execution and close-out, your contributions ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations, foster a proactive safety culture, and support the successful delivery of complex projects.

How you'll make an impact
Review and align with customer HSE requirements, ensuring Hitachi Energy’s HSE approach is integrated throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare and submit all HSE tender documentation in line with ITT and TDL requirements, including preliminary HSE plans
Participate in customer meetings and workshops, both on-site and remotely, to clarify HSE-related topics
Develop HSE Scope of Work for subcontractors and review their documentation to ensure compliance with internal and project standards
Provide HSE cost estimates covering personnel, materials, training, and third-party services
Create comprehensive HSE documentation, including the Project HSE Plan and Emergency Preparedness & Response Plan
Establish the HSE organization for the project, ensuring adequate resources and competencies are in place for each phase
Monitor HSE performance and compliance, propose KPIs, support incident reporting, and ensure continuous improvement through regular reviews and training
Your background
5–8 years of proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management within large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
Recognizable qualification in HSE (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of legal, contractual, and internal HSE requirements, with the ability to translate them into practical project execution
Hands-on experience in managing subcontractor HSE compliance and coordinating cross-functional teams across all project phases
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodies
Good German language skills
Conversant with ISO 45001 (Internal Auditor Training certification in ISO 45001 will be advantageous )
