This role is directly connected to our service organisation in Mönchengladbach, Germany, where an international team of engineers and technicians develop, design, and build complex filling machines tailored to customer needs.

At Elopak, safety is a core value. We are seeking a passionate and proactive HSE Coordinator to join our global team and enhance health, safety, and environmental standards.

Your responsibilities include analyzing safety incidents and observations to improve safety measures, designing and delivering training programs for our international Technical Service Teams, and driving key HSE KPIs such as TRI rate and safety observations per FTE. You will serve as a key communicator within our international service network, ensuring safety documentation is accurate and up to date, representing your department in safety meetings, and actively participating in the Elopak Global Safety Team.

Requirements:

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering with HSE training or experience as a Safety Officer/Engineer
• Experience in mechanical engineering, especially with filling machines processing food, beverages, or in the packaging, paper, or board industry (advantageous)
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%, mainly within Central Europe
• Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional languages are a plus
• EU Driver's License
