Join the exciting part of our global HR Operations Team!

To further enhance HR support to our employees and managers, our HR Operations Team covers our organization worldwide in over 50 countries. From 3 hubs we are supporting our company in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Performance Services, Employee Data Services, Rewards Services, Learning Services, Employee & Manager Services and Payroll Services.


In this role you will be part of the HR Systems Management team which supports HR Operations with designing, implementing, maintaining and enabling HR IT technologies that support efficient HR processes with a focus on increasing manager and employee self-service.

  • Implement, optimize, and support Workday as our core HRIS in a live production environment, ensuring efficient and reliable HR processes.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and HR process owners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Coordinate and oversee integrations between Workday and other internal/external systems (e.g., Payroll, ServiceNow, external vendors), ensuring seamless and secure data flow.

  • Participate in complex data migrations, system upgrades, and enhancements in a live production environment.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, reducing manual interventions and increasing system efficiency.

  • Work closely with internal and external IT developers to ensure integration projects are well designed, implemented, tested, and documented.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Workday releases, best practices, and emerging HR technology trends.

  • Provide guidance and support to HR Operations team members to ensure thorough preparation for testing and enablement activities

  • Ensure standardization, harmonization, and best practice sharing within HR Operations.

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Several years of hands-on experience with Workday in an international (matrix) environment, including live system implementation, configuration, integration and support.

  • Strong general knowledge of APIs and integration concepts; proven experience coordinating integrations between Workday and other HR systems (e.g., Payroll, ServiceNow, external vendors).

  • Experience participating in complex, cross-functional HR technology projects, such as data migrations, system upgrades, and enhancements in live production environments.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proactive, independent, and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency to drive projects to completion.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are beneficial.

  • A university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial.

  • Experience with SQL is a strong advantage, but a willingness to learn is equally valued.

  • Up-to-date with the latest HR technology trends, tools, and best practices, and eager to continuously learn and share knowledge.
