Position: HR Specialist (d/f/m)

This role is at the heart of our German HR Operations team, providing support to associates, managers, the global HR team, and cross-functional systems, processes, and policies, including onboarding and offboarding of associates, covering the entire employee lifecycle.

This position is based in Germany, located in Freiburg and Dreieich, and is an on-site role. It is a temporary position to cover maternity leave, with a duration of 12 months, and can be full-time or part-time (minimum 30 hours/week).

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of employment contracts, references, and certificates
  • Supporting HR activities such as onboarding and recruiting processes
  • Participating in HR-related projects and in the continuous optimization, harmonization, and standardization of HR processes
  • Performing general administrative tasks
  • Preparing payroll

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with HR-related tasks and knowledge of German employment law
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic, and global matrix environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and employee management systems (knowledge of Workday is a plus)

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in German and English

It would be advantageous if you also have experience in:

  • German Social Security Law
