We currently operate in 5 markets where we partner with the biggest clients to help them deliver their goods to their customers as quickly as possible, so our service must be one step ahead of the rest of the market. We use advanced technology and are developing our own logistics platform, GAIA, which facilitates real-time data collection. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented and an individual HR Operation Specialist to join our team for full-time role in Berlin, who will be in daily contact with our employees in our Germany office.

In this role, you will be taking care of recruitment – blue collars (couriers, area managers, etc.), HR administration, bringing new insights, ideas, taking care about company environment, organizing company events and process alignment.

You will be part of a newly formed HR group team from Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Where your key task will be to provide HR service for Germany colleagues.

Tasks

HR Administration:

  • Managing employee entry/exit processes, onboarding, and labor law matters
  • Preparing and updating employment contracts, job descriptions, and personnel records
  • Maintaining and updating the HR system and ensuring accurate data management
  • Handling HR reporting, medical examinations, and holiday registrations
  • Advising on employment types for new positions and supporting franchisees with legal matters

Recruitment:

  • Managing recruitment for blue-collar roles: job postings, prescreening, interviews, and offers
  • Coming up with ideas on how to effectively deal with courier recruitment
  • Using ATS (Datacruit) and providing recruitment updates
  • Supporting franchisees with hiring and improving recruitment strategies

Payroll:

  • Providing payroll inputs (e.g., absences, work schedules) and cooperating with an external payroll agency
  • Preparing employment-related documents and certificates

Employee Life Cycle:

  • Conducting employee interviews (onboarding, adaptation, exit)
  • Monitoring salary and benefits benchmarks
  • Assisting with training programs in collaboration with other departments
  • Supporting our employees

HR Projects:

  • Supporting HRBP in projects like Learning & Development, new system implementations, and process unification
  • Aligning Group regulations with local laws, including translation and coordination
  • Organizing employee events and managing back-office tasks to enhance employee satisfaction
Requirements
  • German language is a must
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR administration
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law
  • Familiarity with German payroll, although we engage an external payroll provider
  • Organized individual with a passion for HR
  • Proficiency in advanced English
