About us

European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) is a joint venture between four technology leaders, TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, and NXP, to establish a state-of-the-art semiconductor fab in Europe. ESMC aims to strengthen the European semiconductor ecosystem.

Position: ESMC - HR Operations Manager

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily HR operations, implementing company policies, overseeing recruitment and employee lifecycle processes, monitoring departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This role is key to driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and maintaining high HR service standards.

Tasks:

1. Compliance and Policies: Ensure compliance with internal HR policies, collective agreements, and German employment law. Support communication with the Works Council on routine topics (under supervision). Contribute to HR process improvements and SOP documentation.
2. HR Systems Management and Support: Oversee HR technology infrastructure supporting recruiting and performance management. Manage and optimize HRIS and other digital HR systems for better decision-making.
3. HR Process Management: Develop and monitor HR metrics (retention, development, DE&I), analyze data for trends and improvements, and provide insights for decision-making. Assist in employee lifecycle processes such as contract preparation, onboarding, changes, and offboarding.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

Must have:

• At least 3 years of experience in HR operations or related roles.
• Proven success in leading HR operations teams.
• Basic knowledge of German labor law and employment procedures.

Skills:

• Full professional proficiency in English and German; Mandarin is desirable.
• Concise, data-driven communication style.
