Are you an experienced HR Operations professional with solid knowledge of German payroll? Do you enjoy creating structure, ensuring accuracy and making sure employees and managers receive reliable support? This is a part time position with between 70-80 % (we will are flexible to accommodate you!)

We are looking for an HR Operations to become the operational backbone of our HR delivery in Germany. You will support our full German scope across three legal entities and work closely with our regional HR Managers, payroll providers and wider European HR team. The role may also support additional countries or organizational perimeters outside Germany.

About The Role

• Coordinate the monthly German payroll process across three legal entities
• Prepare, review and validate payroll inputs, changes and supporting documentation
• Work closely with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery
• Manage payroll-related questions, corrections, controls and follow-up
• Support payroll reporting, year-end activities and audits
• Manage HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to changes and offboarding
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, certificates and other employee documentation
• Maintain accurate employee data, personnel files and HR systems
• Provide managers and employees with responsive operational HR support
• Help standardize and improve HR and payroll processes across the German organization
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT and external partners

Who We Are Looking For

You are structured, dependable and comfortable taking ownership of processes where accuracy and deadlines matter. You enjoy solving practical problems and building trusted relationships with employees, managers and external partners.

You Bring

• Previous hands-on experience working with German payroll
• Relevant experience in HR Operations, HR administration or a similar role
• Good knowledge of German HR administration and employee documentation
• Experience managing payroll inputs and working with external payroll providers
• Experience supporting employees covered by collective bargaining agreements or Tarifverträge is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working across several legal entities
• A service-oriented, collaborative and improvement-focused mindset
• Fluent German and strong English
