Summary Main Tasks:
Management of the human resources department
Operational and strategic HR work such as headcount planning, support, development, terminations
Contract design
Advising General Management and Supervisors on labor law, social law and disciplinary issues, as well as supervising development appraisal and target meetings
Cooperation with the works council and collective bargaining parties
Development and implementation of company agreements, personnel systems, guidelines and other regulations
Management of administrative processes in the area of human resources (payroll accounting, personnel cost planning, controlling, budget preparation)
Representation of the company in labor court proceedings
Build commitment amongst leadership towards the performance management program and develops/executes performance solutions in alignment with organizational values
Identify opportunities for ways of working, policies, procedures, and programs to develop long term strategies regarding employee engagement and retention
Ensure the Company is following corporate and legal requirements for the assigned business groups
Critical Competencies
Experience in policy management, employee relations, performance management, organizational change and compliance
Strong business acumen, in-depth knowledge of the business and client group, and the ability to effectively implement HR strategies to support business goals
Strong knowledge of compliance and policy development and implementation
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence at all levels of organization
Excellent communication skills both internally & externally; one on one and in group settings
Ability to provide coaching and guidance to leaders on a variety of performance related situations or circumstances
Education / Qualifications:
Completed business administration/commerce studies or comparable training, e.g. human resources specialist with at least 10 years of professional experience
Several years of professional experience in the field of HR leadership roles
Expertise in the areas of labor law, payroll tax law, social security law, data protection
Entrepreneurial thinking, self-motivation, systematic approach to work, negotiation skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness
