Qualifikationen

  • Min. 5 years' experience as HR Manager/HR Business Partner in an international company.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in German and English.
  • Experience in HR administration in Germany.

The business unitNormstahl Crawfordwithin SDC serves the indirect sales channel. Product range includes industrial sectional doors, roller doors, door and gate automation products, docking equipment and the core competence residential garage doors incl. accessories.

Role Summary

HR Manager one of the key players in the BU Normstahl Crawford team who supports management and employees in achieving business goals. This role initiates, co-develops, implements and executes policies, personnel instruments, and procedures in the area of HRM within the BU Normstahl Crawford (DACH, Sweden and Czech Republic) and ASSA ABLOY, taking into account political, social, legal and organizational developments. Ensures efficient and effective HR processes to support the overall business.

The role reports to the Head of Business Unit Normstahl Crawford and is member of the BU management team.The role holder maintains relationships with SDC Management and SDC/BSI/ESD HR Team, has a very close cooperation with the BU entities in the countries (country managers and their finance teams), BU Normstahl Crawford management team and as required with central functions/the Group.

Key responsibilities

  • Supports the Head of BU and BU management with HR-related & organizational topics and tasks
  • Responsible for the operational support of approx. 100 employees in DACH and Sweden (on- & off-boarding, GPS data entry & update, recruiting, learning & development, salary reviews, succession & performance management, compensation & benefits and monthly HR KPI reporting)
  • Supervision and coordination of HR activities in collaboration with HR Manager Ostrov (CZ)
  • Adherence to compliance requirements in the area of responsibility in collaboration with managers
  • Preparation and control of monthly payroll in Germany (ca. 35 employees), preparation of HR-related accruals
  • Support with time/absence management and payroll-related communication in Germany as needed
  • Communication with external authorities, e.g. during external tax and social security audits in Germany
  • Support of Health & Safety activities in all countries as needed
  • Follow up on current legislation and its implementation in the BU entities, e.g., preparation/change of HR guidelines and communication to the employees
  • Plan and follow up on projects and initiatives within various HR areas to ensure a positive employee journey, e.g. annual Employee Survey, facilitation of local trainings etc.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement and professionalization of HR within the area of responsibility

Requirements

Education: higher education or equivalent by experience in the field of HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics or similar

Experience:

  • min. 5 years' experience as HR Manager/HR Business Partner or HR Consultant in an international company with matrix structure
  • Working knowledge of DACH labour & social regulations
  • Knowledge of Austrian CLA Trade is of big advantage
  • Experience with Swedish labour regulations is a plus
  • Experience in HR administration, e.g. preparation/controllof payroll & drafting contracts in Germany is necessary
  • Experience in organizational change and culture building is a plus
  • Experience with unions/work council is a plus

Languages: excellent written and spoken skills in German and English, any other BU language is a plus (Swedish, Czech, Italian)

Computer skills: experience with SAP SuccessFactors is of great advantage, good knowledge of MS Office

Other: valid European driving licence
