In Germany, Lilly is currently planning and building a high-tech manufacturing site in Alzey (Rhineland-Palatinate), which is expected to expand our injectable medication production from 2027 and employ up to 1,000 specialists. HR Manager - Compensation & Benefits (m/f/d)
What will you do?
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that support company goals.
- Manage processes such as personnel cost planning, annual salary reviews, and promotions.
- Advise and support colleagues in Alzey on compensation and benefits matters, including Lilly's stock program.
- Oversee salary structures and policies, ensuring compliance with legal and collective bargaining regulations.
- Analyze compensation data and benchmark salaries to ensure competitiveness.
- Lead the project to introduce time management systems.
- Coordinate local payroll matters, address payroll queries, and develop requirements for payroll systems.
- Handle occupational pension schemes, including pension applications and advising on capital accounts, direct insurance, and salary conversions.
- Conduct training sessions and informational events for colleagues.
- Support expatriate colleagues with inquiries, including issuing certificates and data preparation for external service providers.
- Collaborate closely with global and local compensation & benefits teams and the local finance team.
What do you need to qualify?
- A relevant degree or vocational qualification in HR, payroll accounting, or personnel management.
- Several years of professional experience in operational HR, payroll, social security law, and compensation & benefits, with good knowledge of employment law and occupational pensions.
- Knowledge of payroll, time management, collective agreements, salary benchmarking, and ideally SAP HCM software.
- Strong social skills, communication skills, and service orientation.
- High reliability, initiative, and motivation.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to handle complex issues.
- Enjoy working onsite and engaging directly with the team.
- Excellent German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
