Your mission
As an
HR Generalist (Junior Specialist), you will play a key role in supporting with essential HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. You will support employee engagement, talent management, and compliance to help build a thriving and motivated workforce. This position is initially limited to a fixed-term contract of one year.
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes by maintaining the manpower list, reviewing internal requests, and advising hiring managers.
- Prepare and post job advertisements on platforms such as Personio and social media; conduct active sourcing via LinkedIn.
- Coordinate interviews, participate in candidate selection, and prepare job offers and employment contracts.
- Assist in pre-boarding and onboarding activities, including HR introduction sessions and documentation setup.
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee status changes; update internal tools.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files in HRIS, ensuring data integrity.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide support for monthly payroll preparation through accurate data input and coordination with payroll providers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and GDPR requirements; support internal HR audits and process reviews.
- Draft and revise HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines; stay informed on changes in employment legislation.
- Support employee communication, maintain HR intranet content, and help coordinate HR-related events and trainings.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree or vocational training in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and German with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, Korean would be a plus.
- Experience (ex. as a working student) in HR-related functions is beneficial
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Hands-on experience with HR software (HRIS), payroll systems, and/or applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to track HR metrics and generate reports.
