DEPARTMENT

At Vantage, we’re on a transformational journey — and our People & Culture (P&C) team is right at the heart of it. As part of our EMEA growth strategy, our dynamic P&C team of 10 professionals is evolving to support the expansion of our workforce, which currently stands at 1191 across the region, split between permanent & contingent workers.

We are now looking for a proactive, people-focused HR Generalist to join our central service delivery team and help shape the future of HR support across EMEA.


POSITION OVERVIEW

The role is a crucial part of the People & Culture function, EMEA. This role will support the execution of service delivery across EMEA. This service includes Operational HR support as well as supporting change management projects and activities across EMEA, in partnership with Country P&C managers and Business Partners.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  • Operational HR Support: Manage the employee lifecycle — from recruitment to onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.

  • Employee Relations: Be a trusted point of contact for employees and managers; support employee relation cases with a unified, thoughtful approach.

  • Compliance: Support country managers in ensuring that all HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.

  • Culture & Engagement: Help drive a positive workplace culture through employee relations, engagement activities, and employee feedback programs.

  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and streamline HR systems and tools.

  • Change Management: Support delivery of transformation and change initiatives across the business.

  • Data & Insights: Provide reports and data to support strategic business decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the EMEA region — experience in Germany is essential, experience in other countries such as Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Luxembourg is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of local employment law and HR policies

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • High level of discretion and empathy when handling sensitive matters

  • Analytical mindset to assess HR risks and make informed decisions

  • Proven success in employee relations and managing complex ER cases, advising senior management.

  • Experience of proactively embedding legislation changes/ requirements in the organization

  • Experience of partnering with L&D function to create learning interventions for upskilling leaders/ line managers

  • Fluency in German & English language is essential, Italian language skills are an advantage

  • Certifications in HR or employment law are beneficial
