As we set our sights on expanding, we’re on the hunt for a HR-Generalist to join us. If you're ready to embark on an adventure with us and help revolutionize pet insurance, we want to hear from you!

This position is placed at our office in Berlin where we apply a hybrid work model with 3 days per week at the office with the opportunity to work from home. You will be reporting directly to Head of People & Talent.

Tasks

As our HR Generalist, you’ll be the go-to person for all things HR and office-related in our Berlin hub. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing onboarding and offboarding processes – from contracts and equipment to warm welcomes and smooth exits
  • Handling HR admin and documentation, including employment letters and personnel records
  • Maintaining accurate employee data and workflows in our HR system (Hibob)
  • Maintaining and improving our HR tools and systems
  • Assisting in recruitment – interview scheduling, reference checks and more
  • Ensuring compliance with German labor laws and HR regulations
  • Overseeing the daily operations of our Berlin office – mail, supplies, vendors, etc.
  • Creating a welcoming, well-equipped, and functional workspace for the team
  • Organizing team events, breakfasts, after works, and other fun local internal initiatives
  • Acting as a culture ambassador and helping bring our values to life locally
Requirements
  • 2–3 years of HR experience, ideally from a fast-paced start-up or scale-up
  • Solid understanding of German labor law and HR best practices
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a hands-on mindset
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks
  • Experience with HRIS systems (like Hibob) and basic recruitment support is a plus
