Position Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Remote with weekly travel to site in Lüneburg (1-2 per week), occasionally to site in Nienburg (every other week)

Position Overview
The Regional HR Business Partner supports cross-regional operations (~300+ employees) by delivering strategic HR services, partnering with leadership, and executing workforce initiatives. This role independently manages complex employee relations, labour issues, and HR programs across multiple sites.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead advisor on complex employee and labour relations matters, ensuring compliance and resolution through objective investigations.

  • Partner with leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including performance management and change initiatives.

  • Support employee development through career planning, internal mobility, and targeted retention efforts.

  • Collaborate with HR functional experts to optimize and localize recruiting, training, compensation, and benefits programs.

  • Guide and implement HR policies and procedures to improve workforce effectiveness and compliance.

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support decision-making.

  • Lead or contribute to regional HR projects impacting multiple business functions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of HR experience

  • Strong knowledge of German labour law including experience with work councils and German national labour agreements (Tarifvertrag)

  • Fluent in English and German language

  • Proven experience handling complex employee relations and advising on labour issues.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting multiple locations or unionized environments.

  • Background in leading HR initiatives across cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of regional labour laws and HR compliance.

  • Comfortable navigating organizational change and ambiguity.
