Maltego is seeking an HR Business Partner to support managers with timely people advice and to drive the people agenda across teams. You will collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, L&D and Finance, building trusted relationships and delivering improvements in performance, workforce planning, and employee relations.

Location is Munich with a hybrid model (minimum 3 days in the Munich office).

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in HRBP, HR Generalist or similar advisory role.
• Experience in SaaS, tech or fast-growing company.
• Working knowledge of German employment law.
• Strong communication skills to advise and influence managers.
• Ability to manage priorities and run projects end-to-end.
• Comfort with people data and building clear reports.
• AI savvy with daily use of AI tools, mindful of data privacy and quality.
• Business fluent German and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day people partnering for assigned teams, advising managers on hiring, performance, development and team topics.
• Deliver performance review and calibration cycles, and coach managers on giving clear feedback.
• Analyse headcount, attrition and engagement data, and propose actions to managers and leadership.
• Support workforce planning with functional leaders and Finance by preparing headcount data and scenarios.
• Manage employee relations cases with a fair, pragmatic and legally sound approach.
• Coordinate with employer of record partners to give remote colleagues a consistent and compliant experience.
• Improve and optimise HR processes and manager toolkits, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Drive people projects end to end, such as engagement actions or process changes, and propose solutions based on what you learn.

Why we need you

The HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting our managers with practical, timely people advice, ensuring teams are well supported and set up to perform. This role owns the people agenda for the teams it supports, works closely with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, L&D and Finance, and contributes to improvements in performance management, employee relations and people analytics. Success in this role requires sound judgement, a proactive approach to delivering milestones and consistent delivery aligned with company standards. In the first phase, you will build trusted relationships with your managers, learn our people processes and deliver your first improvements to our performance and workforce planning cycles.

Location: Munich, Germany (hybrid, at least 3 days working from the Munich office)

Your profile in short

Required qualifications (must have)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or similar HR advisory role
• Experience working in a SaaS, tech or fast growing company
• Working knowledge of German employment law
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise and influence managers
• Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and run projects from start to finish
• Comfort with people data and building clear reports
• AI savvy: curious and confident using AI tools in your daily work to work faster and smarter, with good judgement on data privacy and quality
• Language requirements: business fluent German and English, written and spoken

Preferred qualifications (nice to have)

• Exposure to organisational change, M&A integration or multi country teams, including employer of record providers
• Experience with an HRIS such as Personioand HR platformssuch asLattice
• Experience with Jira for tracking and managing work
• Hands on experience using Claude or similar AI assistants to support HR work
• Knowledge of compensation benchmarking or job levelling
• A coaching qualification or systemic HR methodology
