A leading company in the laser imaging industry is seeking an HR Business Partner to drive HR strategy at their Jena site. In this role, you will support HR initiatives aligned with business needs and ensure compliance with German labor laws. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, strong communication skills in both German and English, and a proven track record in HR project management and process improvements.

Jobbeschreibung

  • Support strategic HR goals and initiatives that align with business needs.
  • Drive HR strategy for the KLA Jena site.
  • Collaborate with the local works council to develop and implement new agreements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in cooperation with the payroll provider.
  • Participate in business unit management meetings, including strategic planning and reviews.
  • Analyze and measure HR program outcomes through data analysis and reporting.
  • Promote the “Inclusion for All” agenda within the region.
  • Harmonize terms, conditions, policies, and standardize processes for efficiency.
  • Lead or participate in regional / global HR projects.

Employee Relations :

  • Provide guidance on handling employee relations issues.
  • Promote organizational change through effective communication and direction.

Regulatory Compliance :

  • Assess regulatory compliance and educate management on potential concerns.
  • Manage internal and external audits.
  • Work with the German-wide HR team to ensure alignment in HR practices and policies.
  • Partner with KLA Centers of Excellence to drive improvements in Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Inclusion for All, Legal, and Communications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor laws and regulations, with experience in cooperation with works council.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Experience with HR systems and tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing matrix organization.
  • Track record in HR project management and process improvements.
  • Intuition for business and understanding of the financial implications of HR initiatives.
  • Experience in business analysis to implement relevant reporting as needed by the business.
  • Ability to promote fairness and integrity in the implementation of HR policies, programs, and practices.
