A leading European central banking institution in Frankfurt is seeking an HR Solutions Expert to provide strategic HR advice to business areas. The role involves building collaborative relationships, driving diversity and inclusion, and managing workforce planning initiatives. Candidates should possess a master's degree in HR or a related field and have at least three years of relevant experience. The position offers a short-term contract with competitive compensation.
General Information
Your team
You will be part of the Business Partnering Division in the Directorate General Human Resources. Our Directorate General has over 100 staff providing professional services to more than 5,000 employees at the ECB. We strive to deliver data-driven solutions that inspire, and together we enable ECB employees to excel every day.
Our Division is responsible for interactions between Human Resources (HR) and the rest of the organisation. Our designated HR Business Partners provide strategic advice to leaders in ECB business areas, while the Talent Acquisition team is responsible for sourcing strategies and recruitment. We support employees throughout their career journey via our Employee Partner function and we engage with staff representatives and employee/business networks via the Staff Engagement Hub.
In your role as an HR Business Partner, you will be part of a team of colleagues acting as strategic partners for leaders in assigned business areas, working in close collaboration with Employee Partners and the Talent Acquisition team. HR Business Partners also act as agents of change, proactively bringing the ECB’s “people strategy” to life and bringing the needs of the business areas they serve to the forefront of the HR agenda.

The contract offered will be short-term ESCB/IO, the appointment being until end of December 2026, extendable to up to 36 months. Candidates must have a contract of employment with their home institution for a period of at least one year beyond the duration of the ECB contract being offered.
