HR Business Partner

As an HR Business Partner at roda, you will play a key role in supporting our operations and leadership in Germany. You will work closely with local managers and the global HR team to enable growth, support organizational development, and ensure alignment with our strategic goals. Your work will contribute to building the people infrastructure behind MilDef’s mission-critical systems during a major European rearmament phase. You will report functionally to the Chief People Officer (CPO) in Helsingborg, Sweden, and be based at our office in Lichtenau, Baden-Württemberg. The role involves travel between our two German sites and occasional visits to other MilDef locations, primarily in Sweden, where Group HR is based.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and develop the local HR function to support business needs across two German sites
2. Implement Group HR strategies, processes, and policies locally
3. Act as a strategic partner to local managers and leaders on HR matters
4. Lead local recruitment and onboarding processes
5. Ensure compliance with German labor laws and internal HR policies
6. Drive initiatives in performance, development, and employee engagement
7. Collaborate with the international HR team to align practices and share best practices, including travel to other sites when needed

What You Bring

1. Proven experience in establishing and developing local HR functions in Germany
2. Ability to translate and implement global HR strategies locally
3. Solid knowledge of German labor law and HR best practices
4. Strong communication skills in German and English
5. Experience in an international, cross-functional environment
