Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager for Public Telco Providers in Germany. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week in an HPE office, and focuses on managing public telco accounts, driving penetration, and coordinating resources to deliver AI-enabled networking solutions.

• University degree in computer science/business administration or equivalent qualification.
• More than 8 years working experience in a sales environment selling products, solutions and services.
• Extensive public sector sales experience, ideally with telco provider know-how.
• Profound knowledge of IT sales/market, networking and security technology.
• Strong knowledge about deal project management, business planning, execution and control.
• Self-motivation with a go-and-get approach and will to win.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong customer orientation, empathetic and advisory expertise.
• High level of responsibility and confidence.
• Business fluency in German (native level) and English language.

In a typical day as Sales Account Manager you:

• Are responsible for a defined set of public telco providers across Germany (f.ex. M-Net, Gelsen-Net, Wilhelm.tel...)
• Drive account penetration in existing and new strategic accounts (local government), aligned with the channel engagement model
• Coordinate internal resources and external partners to deliver desired solutions to public customers plus to act as a trusted advisor
• Establish relationships with customers and partners at all organizational levels and identify buying influencers
• Use our CRM tools to ensure knowledge sharing, synergies, and business predictability
• Achieve quota by working with individual targetsand execute aligned with Networking team objectives
• Plan handover and leverage correct organizational resource (technical consultants & channel) to ensure customer satisfaction and brand integrity
• Contribute to our long-term success by regular best-practice sharing and seeking constant improvement
