Job Overview
Healthcare Professionals are needed to provide medical services to support the Military Treatment Facilities and Health Clinics within the U.S. Army Medical Command, Regional Health Command Europe, and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, including the US Navy and US Air Forces in Europe.
Qualifications
  • Degree: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) recognized by ACEN or CCNE, or a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Social Work or Nursing program as per the accreditation standards.
  • Experience: Clinical competency plus two years in areas like child maltreatment, abuse prevention, dysfunctional families, or related fields.
    • Licensure: Valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
  • Support the Army’s New Parent Support Program (NPSP) and Family Advocacy Program (FAP); coordinate referrals; assess psychosocial needs; develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Understand family dynamics, child development, and deployment-related stresses.
  • Provide a conducive learning environment; use tact and sensitivity; utilize computer systems.
  • Perform home visits, assessments, interviews, and deliver prevention programs.
  • Screen referrals, conduct family assessments, and develop service plans.
  • Coordinate with community providers; provide services independently and as part of a team.
  • Respond to service needs outside normal hours; facilitate parenting programs; maintain documentation and reports.
  • Participate in professional development; perform additional duties as assigned.

Support Status

This position qualifies for support under NATO SOFA articles 72 or 73.
