Schedule: Monday to Friday 7 AM to 4 PM 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description

Step into a pivotal role where you’ll be the driving force behind building an exceptional team for a growing outdoor construction business. As their Recruitment and HR Assistant, you’ll manage the entire talent acquisition pipeline while supporting crucial HR operations that keep this expanding company running smoothly. Responsibilities
  • Post and optimize job advertisements on leading recruitment platforms like Seek to attract top talent
  • Transform and enhance existing job descriptions to maximize candidate appeal and clarity
  • Conduct professional email correspondence with job applicants to assess interest, availability, and fit
  • Verify and validate candidate qualifications, licenses, and industry certifications
  • Orchestrate seamless HR onboarding experiences for new team members
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive employee documentation and records
  • Manage digital document workflows using BrightHR system for optimal efficiency
  • Support the strategic hiring initiative to bring 4-5 specialized professionals across fencing and landscaping divisions
  • Coordinate recruitment processes for both commercial fencing specialists and residential landscaping experts

Requirements
  • Strong computer literacy with confidence navigating web-based platforms and digital tools
  • Experience with online recruitment platforms (Seek experience highly valued)
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional candidate correspondence
  • Meticulous attention to detail for document verification and management processes
  • HR knowledge or enthusiasm to learn comprehensive onboarding procedures
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple recruitment streams simultaneously
  • Familiarity with document management systems (BrightHR experience advantageous)
