Helpdesk / User Experience Officer (m / f)

Based in Hamm

Your role :

As part of Workplace Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the digital workplace experience at Arendt. This position bridges user experience (UX), IT support, and operational excellence. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of internal tools and services, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and aligned with business needs. You will also act as a key liaison between end-users and IT teams, helping to resolve issues, implement updates, and drive adoption of new technologies.

  • Handle creation and management of incident and request tickets via IT portal, emails, and phone;
  • Configure, install, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile phones;
  • Provide meeting room support and manage video conferencing systems;
  • Provide frontline support for workplace tools and services, including Microsoft 365, Intune, and Exchange environments;
  • Assist in the deployment and testing of software updates;
  • Support IT transformation initiatives such as Windows 11 upgrades and Copilot enablement;
  • Participate in onboarding sessions for new employees and promote IT security awareness;
  • Manage phone systems and assist with audiovisual setups;
  • Apply "user path" (UX) techniques to improve employee experience;
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, policies, and CMDB;
  • Maintain proactive communication with team members and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables;
  • Share knowledge and contribute to a positive, solution-oriented team culture;
  • Ensure implementation of IT infrastructure security measures as per Group IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.

Your profile :

  • You hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent higher education in computer science;
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position and working environment;
  • You have a perfect command of English and French, both spoken and written;
  • You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10 and 11 and good computer skills (Entra ID, Exchange Online, Cisco CUCM, Intune enrollment etc.) as well as iPhone and iPad skills (device configuration...);
  • You have strong knowledge in service management (incident / problem management);
  • You are familiar with encoding tickets through a tool and escalating incident & security issues;
  • You have a sense of service and pedagogy with a good team spirit;
  • You are organized and know how to manage your priorities;
  • Knowledge of ITIL will be considered as an asset;
  • Owning Microsoft certifications will be considered as an asset.
