Job summary

Alignerr Health Policy & Management AI Content Specialist role is remote and hourly, inviting MPH professionals to apply epidemiology, biostatistics and policy knowledge to ensure health information in AI is accurate and ethical.

You will design health scenarios, author expert-level responses, and audit AI outputs for bias and correctness, with flexibility of 10–40 hours per week and potential renewals.

This is your opportunity to apply your epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy knowledge to one of the most consequential technology challenges of our time: making sure AI systems provide accurate, evidence-based, and ethically grounded health information.

What You'll Do

• Design Complex Health Scenarios — Create advanced public health challenges involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, clinical trial interpretation, and policy analysis.
• Author Expert-Level Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step responses grounded in peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and more).
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards. Identify misinformation and reasoning gaps.
• Refine AI Reasoning — Provide structured, high-quality feedback that helps AI models better distinguish correlation from causation, communicate health risks clearly, and serve diverse populations equitably.

Who You Are

• Holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or closely related graduate degree
• Strong foundational expertise in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
• Able to translate complex health data into clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive written content
• Detail-oriented when evaluating statistical significance, data citations, and health intervention logic
• No prior AI experience required — we'll onboard you

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance
