Job summary

HyImpulse in Neuenstadt am Kocher, Baden-Württemberg, is seeking a Quality Engineer to own and continuously improve quality engineering and compliance processes across NCR/CAPA, supplier quality, calibration, safety and facilities.

You will lead root cause analysis, support internal audits and AS9100 QMS implementation, analyze KPIs, and collaborate with Engineering, Production and Procurement. Hands-on in a workshop environment and a diverse startup culture are offered.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve assigned Quality Engineering and operational compliance processes, including NCR/CAPA, supplier quality, calibration, hazardous materials, safety/compliance, facilities & equipment, and third‑party property
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions and quality improvement activities
• Support Quality inspections, quality planning, internal audits and AS9100 QMS implementation
• Analyse Quality KPIs and identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities
• Provide technical Quality support to Engineering, Production, Procurement and Warehouse
• Maintain regular hands‑on interaction with workshop and operational teams

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical field
• Structured, analytical and independent working style
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good German and English skills

Desired Experience

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, Inspection or a similar technical environment
• Practical experience with NCR/RCA/CAPA, Quality processes and continuous improvement
• Experience with measurement/calibration, supplier quality or operational compliance is advantageous
• Experience in aerospace or another regulated manufacturing environment is a plus
• AS9100 / ISO 9001 knowledge is advantageous
• Willingness to work hands‑on in a workshop/manufacturing environment
