Summary
We are looking for a “Head of Supportability Engineering (f/m/d)” for the Services Development department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
The Supportability Engineering department is responsible for specifying and analyzing the properties of HENSOLDT products and systems relevant for support and service (reliability, testability, repairability, availability, etc.), as well as determining the required product support / service requirements and resources in terms of type and scope (Logistic Support Analysis, LSA).
Your Tasks
- Disciplinary and technical management of the department at the Ulm site
- Technical support in the field of Supportability Engineering at other locations or in other organizations
- Representation of the Supportability Engineering discipline within the company, towards customers and partners, as well as in association committees
- Collaboration with Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Management and the neighboring disciplines of Technical Documentation, Customer Training and Obsolescence Management
- Coordination with product and system programs, engineering, QM, safety and airworthiness
- Carrying out order and capacity planning for the department and ensuring capacity utilization
- Ensuring the availability of personnel, tools and other resources (e.g., external contractors) in line with requirements, as well as order processing within the specified time, quality, and cost framework
- Assigning employees and resources to activities and projects
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in customer service or a related field of activity
- Strong understanding of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS), as well as of processes and procedures in Customer Service
- Knowledge of the content and application of relevant norms and standards (e.g., ASD specifications)
- Leadership skills (in terms of personnel and administration)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong inclination to design improvements in the task environment (processes, digitization)
- Business fluent in English and German
