The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and ramping up our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The Purchasing unit is the interface to the supplier market and is responsible for a large part of the value creation. Responsibilities include raw material purchasing, supplier management, plant purchasing, and value engineering.

How You Will CELLebrate

1. Lead the supplier management team globally to:
2. Monitor and ensure the structured purchase parts management process (gate process) for defined purchase part scopes.
3. Develop and oversee the Supplier Management process for battery cell components, ensuring its effectiveness.
4. Lead and monitor supplier audits to evaluate supplier capability (Q-Audit, POT, QTR), resulting in a Q-Rating for supplier nomination.
5. Guide and review industrialization concept assessments and supplier timeline plausibility, including infrastructure, equipment, automation, workforce planning, and sub-supplier structure.
6. Track industrialization milestones, initiate corrective measures if deviations occur, and focus on infrastructure, tooling, equipment, commissioning, OEE, staff ramp-up, and sub-supplier management.
7. Ensure evaluation and release of the supplier's production process based on proof of serial production capability.
8. Support operations at supplier sites, equipment and tooling manufacturers to secure capacity needs, including banking measurements.
9. Implement PowerCo procurement strategy within a target system and support program and method implementation.
10. Manage external service providers worldwide for infrastructure, banking, and industrialization monitoring at PowerCo suppliers.
11. Lead the team.

What You Need For Our CELLebration

• Completed technical/university studies in chemistry, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar fields.
• Experience in quality assurance within the chemical and/or automotive sectors.
• Relevant manufacturing process experience in chemical industry and/or automotive sector.
• Basic understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and requirements.
• Experience in auditing and qualification of industrial products and processes.
• Troubleshooting experience in industrial production disruptions.
• Several years of personnel management experience.
• Fluent business proficiency in German and English.
