We are looking for a full-time, permanent Head of Station Operations (all genders) in the Ground Operations department of Eurowings Aviation GmbH at our location in Cologne.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the handling and station processes at the airports and therefore have a major influence on our customer satisfaction, punctuality and stable operations.
• You are a manager, coach and mentor and develop your team both professionally and personally.
• Service-oriented and safe passenger handling with the aim of high customer satisfaction is a matter of course for you.
• You ensure safe and punctual aircraft handling in compliance with official regulations.
• Safety is the basis for you - you ensure that our ground processes meet the highest safety requirements.
• You are responsible for the Ops and handling processes, are innovative and ensure that our handling processes are constantly developed further.
• You check the quality of our service partners' handling services, ensure compliance with processes and rectify any weaknesses.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a university/master's degree in the field of economics, tourism.
• You have many years of relevant professional experience in the aviation industry and in the ground operations area of an airline.
• You have already familiarized yourself with various areas of airline operations.
• Digitalization is a constant companion for you and you have a very good understanding of the IT processes of an airline, especially with regard to passenger and aircraft handling.
• Thanks to your leadership experience, you know how to motivate your team even in stressful times.
• Internationality is a matter of course for you - you communicate business fluently in both German and English.
