Job summary

TAKKT Group seeks a Head of Sourcing to shape new worlds of work by leading global sourcing strategy and end-to-end activities across categories. You will drive supplier selection, contracting, negotiations, onboarding, and framework agreements while aligning with global procurement goals.

The role requires 10+ years in global sourcing, strong Asia expertise, and proven leadership of sourcing teams. Flexible work location with a central office, and a development budget support your impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of global sourcing experience.
• Strong Asia sourcing expertise with travel and Far East supplier knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in direct/indirect reporting structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing across senior leadership and matrix orgs.
• Strong analytical and transformation capabilities in procurement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Translate procurement objectives into sourcing strategies across all categories and align with global goals.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, onboarding and framework agreements.
• Oversee sourcing performance to ensure quality, cost, delivery, savings and KPIs.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and continuously improve sourcing processes and models.
• Act as the key link between Procurement, Category Management, and Supply Chain; align priorities and resolve conflicts.
• Lead and develop the sourcing team and provide regular management reporting.

The Head of Sourcing is a key player in the transformation of our sourcing and procurement approach, leads & owns the sourcing process and outcome, across all categories. Works closely with Heads of Procurement and Procurement Managers to ensure global sourcing strategies are operationally realised.

What Makes You Be the Perfect Fit

• 10+ years of global sourcing experience, ideally within retail or consumer goods environments.
• Strong Asia sourcing expertise, including regular travel, deep knowledge of Chinese suppliers and business practices, and ideally experience managing a Far East sourcing operation for a European business.
• Proven people leadership experience, with responsibility for leading and developing teams in both direct and indirect reporting structures.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate effectively across senior leadership, functions, and matrix organizations.
• Strong analytical and transformation capabilities, with experience leading or contributing to major procurement transformation initiatives.
