The SEO team is at the heart of our success in organic search across all ABOUT YOU markets. We work closely together with key teams like shop development, content creation, and performance marketing to drive striking results. As part of the innovative Marketing Intelligence and Technology unit, we thrive on data-driven insights and cutting-edge technology. You will be empowered to shape strategies, create scalable solutions, and see the tangible impact of your work across multiple platforms.

As Head of SEO, you will lead ourdynamic team of 5 full time employees and 4 working students, shaping and executing strategies that align with our business goals. You will take ownership of our SEO efforts across 25+ countries, driving innovation and ensuring our success in a competitive digital landscape.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of SEO efforts across 25+ countries and 3 platforms (desktop web, mobile web and app)

  • Develop, monitor and report key SEO KPIs for transparency and success tracking
  • Drive the development of internal SEO tools and the data warehouse using Google BigQuery
  • Define and execute SEO strategies that align with business goals, ensuring the successful implementation of key features
  • Lead of the SEO team, both disciplinary and professional, promoting professional growth and mentoring team members
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. development, content, marketing) to seamlessly integrate SEO into ongoing processes
Requirements

Proven experience in SEO leadership, ideally within the e-commerce sector

  • Expertise in technical SEO fundamentals (e.g. client-server interactions, HTTP status codes, crawling, rendering, indexing processes, HTML, CSS)
  • Proficient in the use of common SEO tools (e.g. Search Console, Audisto, Screaming Frog, Sistrix)
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to break down complex strategies into actionable tasks
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively drive SEO initiatives across stakeholders
  • Motivation to stay updated on the latest SEO trends (e.g. Google Updates, SERP features)
  • Professional-level English skills, both spoken and written, for efficient communication in our international working environment
