A leading company in reinsurance, Munich Re, is seeking a Head of Section Networks and Voice Portfolio to manage and oversee strategic change initiatives across operational domains. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive leadership experience in IT along with strong stakeholder engagement skills, aiming to enhance the group's technological offerings.
Location
This role will be part of the Operations Projects Tower for Group Technology, responsible for delivering complex strategic change initiatives across operational domains including Infrastructure, Networks, Cloud, End User Compute, Service Management, and M&A onboarding projects. The Tower oversees multiple project portfolios, each led by senior change and people leaders, and ensures end-to-end project delivery, financial oversight, and alignment with business strategy. Key responsibilities include managing project budgets, prioritization, planning, and partnering with senior business leaders to achieve successful outcomes

The Head of Section for Data Network and Voice Programs will be responsible for leading and delivering two complex global change portfolios—Networks and Voice (Call Center)—across all MRE group entities. This role involves defining and managing a prioritized, funded change roadmap in close collaboration with key stakeholders, including Global Infrastructure and Security, IRM, entity CIOs, Procurement, and other Global IT leaders. The position also requires strong executive relationship management and ensures alignment of initiatives with strategic business objectives.’
