We work with leading technology providers and support their go-to-market success through market intelligence, strategic advisory, and analyst-led positioning. As we scale our vendor business, we are looking for an Acting Head of Sales who combines leadership and operational sales experience with a strong personal network and deep industry understanding.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership position for a pragmatic and results-driven sales expert. You will take active responsibility for driving and converting opportunities, developing our commercial strategy for technology vendors, and building strong relationships across the cybersecurity and identity ecosystem. Alongside your client-facing work, you'll lead revenue operations initiatives to strengthen forecasting, tools, reporting, and process efficiency.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing vendor-focused sales team through example and active deal ownership
  • Personally manage strategic accounts and drive complex sales processes from outreach to closing
  • Shape and refine our vendor-focused go-to-market strategy and commercial positioning
  • Own revenue operations : pipeline forecasting, reporting, CRM hygiene, and performance analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Research, Events, and Advisory to design impactful client campaigns
  • Represent KuppingerCole externally in client briefings, events, and through your professional network
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Revenue Officer on market trends, client feedback, and business development strategy

Your profile :

  • A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or professional services
  • Experience leading or coordinating sales initiatives with a strong “doer” mentality
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and a personal network in the identity and security space
  • Analytical strength and familiarity with sales metrics, CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce), and pipeline management
  • Strategic thinking combined with operational excellence and ownership
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
