Job Title : Divisional Head – Technical Sales

Location : Any City, Germany (Remote with frequent travel across Europe)

Job Type : Full-Time | Individual Contributor | Remote

Work Arrangement : Work from home, with flexibility to travel across Europe for customer visits.

Role Purpose :

The Divisional Head – Technical Sales is responsible for driving technical service support, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening strategic business relationships with customers across Europe. The role combines technical expertise in rubber blacks with business development and sales leadership to drive the company's overall growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Regularly visit customers to understand technical requirements and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Work closely with customers to develop new products and applications, ensuring first-time right solutions.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for customers, sales teams, and channel partners.
  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing teams for new product launches and application development.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting support, quality checks, and manage trial processes at the customer end.
  • Liaise with R&D, Manufacturing, and Process Technology teams to propose product designs and performance testing.
  • Drive new business development among existing and prospective customers / segments.
  • Establish Company grades focusing on brand identity, quality, and service differentiation.
  • Perform continuous market intelligence gathering on competitor activities, products, and industry trends.
  • Analyze customer issues using technical expertise and deliver actionable solutions.
  • Maintain and grow an extensive network in international markets.

Requirements : Education :

  • Master's degree (mandatory).

Experience :

  • Minimum of 5–6 years of experience dealing with large corporate accounts.
  • At least 10 years of proven business development and sales experience.
  • Solid technical understanding of rubber blacks, preferably from the carbon black industry or distributor companies.

Skills :

  • Strong technical background : 40% technical, 60% sales exposure.
  • Excellent networking skills in the international markets.
  • Mandatory proficiency in German; strong English communication skills.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel across Europe.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and customer-focused mindset.
