The Opportunity

Head of Sales (m/f/d)

This role is within our Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH division, focused on innovative products for diabetes management and glucose monitoring technology.

Your Tasks
  • Achieve sales and market share targets to drive profitable growth
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing sales team of Regional Sales Managers in Germany
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and opinion leaders
  • Represent the company at internal and external events and reviews
  • Develop and implement strategies for product launches
  • Monitor and analyze competitors’ products and strategies to inform business responses
  • Develop sales strategies and ensure successful execution
  • Manage costs according to plan and guidelines
  • Anticipate developments in the healthcare market
Your Qualifications
  • Postgraduate diploma or university degree with business experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Experience in sales analysis and strategic sales approaches
  • Experience in strategy development and execution
  • Experience in P&L management, forecasting, and cost control
  • Good personal and professional discipline and balance
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
