Hartmann Young has partnered with a leading global provider of science-backed nutraceutical ingredients to identify a dynamic Sales Manager to lead growth across the DACH region. This is a key commercial role focused on driving revenue, strengthening customer relationships, and building market share in one of Europe’s most strategic territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Manage and mentor one direct report, ensuring performance targets are met and professional development is supported.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and new business prospects.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and technical teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Report on sales performance, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy to senior leadership.
Key Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales within nutraceuticals, ingredients, or related life sciences sectors.
- Fluent in German (native or near-native) and proficient in English.
- Experience managing at least one direct report, with strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on growth and customer success.
- Willingness to travel across the DACH region (approx. 50–60%).
