• Building a resilient and international supplier network and maintaining supplier relationships
• Conducting contract negotiations and concluding cost-effective and legally compliant contracts
• Developing a sustainable purchasing strategy to reduce procurement costs and ensure long-term competitiveness, among other things
• Standardizing and digitalizing purchasing processes with the help of modern tools
• Planning, controlling and adhering to the purchasing budget
• Leading and developing an efficient purchasing team

Your profile

• Completed studies in the field of business administration, industrial engineering, logistics or similar
• Several years of professional experience in strategic and operational purchasing, ideally with management responsibility, in a manufacturing company
• Confident handling of an ERP system (preferably SAP) and experience with e-procurement solutions
• Very good command of English
• Negotiating skills, assertiveness and excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills as well as analytical and entrepreneurial thinking
