Job Description:

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Project Management with a background in power electronics or electronics, particularly in the transition from space to aerospace applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of power electronics projects for aerospace applications, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.

Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Communicate project status, updates, and milestones effectively to stakeholders, management, and project teams.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to ensure the successful development and implementation of power electronics solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review technical specifications, resolve technical challenges, and optimize design solutions for aerospace applications.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the power electronics industry, with a focus on aerospace applications.
• Strong technical background in power electronics design, development, and testing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
