We are looking for a Head of Production to ensure the reliability and quality of our content output. You will oversee daily operations, managing the team and resources to deliver projects consistently, while identifying opportunities to optimize our workflows for better efficiency and implementing them.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and optimise existing production workflows to ensure high quality deliverables on time.
• Leading the team: Manage a diverse team ranging from Junior staff to highly experienced Senior Producers, ensuring that team has the space to be creative within the processes.
• Resource and people management: in collaboration with the Head of Content, you will manage budgets, freelancer capacity, and timelines, ensuring that creative ambitions are matched with realistic execution plans.
• Creatives input: review and feedback concepts, casting, last minute shoot changes

Who You Are

• You appreciate creativity, but find joy in order, spreadsheets, and clear processes.
• You are empathetic but firm. You can navigate complex team dynamics and aren't afraid to have difficult conversations or enforce boundaries to protect the team's focus.
• You have strong people skills and enjoy organising and leading a team.

Experience

• 5+ years in Operational or Project Management roles: You have a proven track record of managing complex timelines, resources, and budgets in a fast-paced environment (e.g., TV, Creative Agencies, Event Management, Tech, or Logistics).
• People Leadership: You have experience managing diverse teams (5+ people), creating an environment of clear ownership, mutual respect, and professional growth.
• Project management software: You have an experience in using various digital project management tools and flexibility to adapt to a new ones (we are using Trello, Monday and Miro)
• Language: fluent English is a must, good knowledge of German is a plus
• Additional advantage: specific experience in Video/Media Production is a strong asset, but not required. If you are an experienced manager who loves structure and is ready to learn the specifics of production and creative parts, we want to hear from you.
