Responsibilities / Tasks
- Coordinates the team of Product Managers in Business Unit LFF; the PMs are direct reports in the CoCs.
- Works in a matrix organization and in a coordination function.
- Fosters close cooperation with R&D / Application Management.
- Contributes to the alignment of strategic priorities and product development.
- Defines technology development requirements for all LFF business according to the PLM model and enhances communication.
- Drives technology development and innovation of core technologies based on market requirements and business needs.
- Ensures technology development is supported by a business case, including investment budget, business and project plans, developed with input from relevant stakeholders.
- Ensures all products are aligned with Digital / Sustainability and Service according to current GEA design specs.
- Drives the 'Add Better Labeling' initiative.
- Aligns with other Business Units and Divisions on new technology development and supports application development.
- Supports KPIs and strategic targets set by GEA Management, with a focus on sustainability.
- Acts as a champion for GEA values and objectives.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant scientific or engineering field or similar.
- Extensive experience in similar roles in engineering, process industry, equipment, or food & beverage manufacturing, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Experience in technology management and/or product management.
- Experience working in matrix organizations, influencing, and leading without direct authority.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) and German (B2 level or above).
- Project management experience within R&D.
- End-to-end process insight.
- Commercial understanding.
- Open-minded to new models, ideas, and innovation (change champion).
- Good people management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
