VORN Bioenergy is a leading biomethane producer and project developer, with over 40 biogas projects delivered in Germany and beyond, including Europe’s first biomethane plant in 2006. We have delivered biomethane plant development, construction, management, and optimisation across a 130+ MW project portfolio in six European markets and has an additional 90+ MW additional development pipeline. We are expanding our team and are currently looking for a Head of Procurement (m/f/d):
Your ResponsibilitiesAs Head of Procurement, you will be a part of VORN’s Operational team, who are responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of projects as well as the Operations of our Biomethane production plants. Our Business idea is to build, own and operate Biomethane plants, and the development area is currently Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland, while we are also exploring to enhance the business into other European countries. We work to ensure the VORN group's strategic goal for Biomethane production by 2028.
About the role
In your role, you cooperate with Engineering, Construction, Asset Management and Feedstock teams, but report to the COO. Over time additional staff will be needed in the team, and it will be up to you to form the team. The role will include following focus areas:
