Drive Financial Performance & Shape Operational Excellence in a Global Manufacturing Leader!

My client is a global industrial group with several production sites across Europe. To strengthen the financial leadership at divisional level, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on professional to join as Head of Plant Controlling (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership: Act as the finance business partner for several production sites and support local management in driving performance
• Operational Controlling: Lead and optimize cost controlling, variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting across the plants
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present monthly management reports and KPI dashboards using SAP and Power BI
• Process Improvement: Drive financial transparency, efficiency, and cost optimization across operations
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the interface between production, finance, and corporate HQ
• Project Involvement: Support investment planning, business cases, and strategic finance projects

Your Skills & Qualification

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 5–7 years of experience in plant or manufacturing controlling
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Solid experience with SAP CO/FI and data analysis tools (Power BI desirable)
• Business fluency in German and English
• Hands-on mentality, strong analytical mindset, and excellent stakeholder skills
