At Swisslog, that’s where! Our teams are the heart of a world-leading Robotics company that’s harnessing the power of technology to shape the future of intralogistics. The result? We’re transforming performance and efficiency for customers across the globe, giving them the vital edge in their markets.

Responsibilities

Make an impact. Lead with Purpose. Empower People. Drive Impact.

Are you a strategic and people-driven HR professional who thrives on collaboration, data, and making a meaningful difference? We’re looking for a forward-thinking Head of People & Organization (P&O) to shape and lead our people strategy in Germany. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with global and regional partners, empower your team, and help leaders build strong, future-ready organizations where people are engaged and customers are always top of mind.

  • Inspire, develop, and empower your team by fostering an open, inclusive, and value-based culture where appreciation and performance go hand-in-hand.
  • Support leaders in becoming strong people developers, fostering a culture of trust, learning, and engagement.
  • Work closely with the German management team, acting as a trusted strategic partner on all P&O matters.
  • Partner with global and regional P&O teams to translate strategic goals into locally relevant actions that drive impact.
  • Ensure smooth HR service delivery, including HR administration and payroll, through effective team leadership.
  • Promote data integrity and use insights to guide decision-making and improve organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, guiding teams through transformation with empathy and clarity.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contributing to a positive, transparent, and collaborative work environment.
  • Coach and develop talent to future-proof our organization and ensure growth opportunities at every level.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging employee lifecycle – from onboarding to offboarding – that reflects our identity as an employer of choice.
Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience in roles such as Head of HR, Senior HR Manager, or HR Business Partner, including demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Solid expertise in employee relations and labor law compliance – ideally within both white- and blue-collar workforces.
  • Proven experience operating in a matrixed, global or regional organization, with the ability to align broad strategies to local realities.
  • A strong track record in leading organizational change – whether it’s cultural transformation, restructuring, or driving HR operational excellence.
  • Additional training or certification in Health & Safety is a strong plus, as is experience with budget setting and financial oversight.

You’re a strategic thinker with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude—you see the big picture but are always ready to act when needed. A natural people leader, you foster empowerment, accountability, and trust in your team. Your communication style is clear, empathetic, and engaging—building trust at every level of the organization. You’re confident navigating complexity and thrive in a fast-paced, people-centered, and operational environment. Most importantly, you believe that a strong culture is the foundation of a high-performing business—and you are ready to be a key driver of that culture.

Ready to shape culture, elevate performance, and make a real impact in a global organization? You might be exactly who we’re looking for!
