Head of Partnerships - Contract

Oliver James is partnering with a leading insurance provider based in Germany who are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to work on an initial 3-month contract (very likely to extend).

You will be responsible for identifying and building new business opportunities in B2B sales, building programmes to strengthen my clients' relationships with 3rd party businesses, and leading transformation activity to establish new processes and frameworks for their partnerships function.

The role offers extensive flexible working arrangements, competitive daily rates and the opportunity to play a critical role in the revenue engine of the company, collaborating closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to refine my client's go-to-market approach and expand their footprint in the market.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and researching potential partners, market segments, and business opportunities within associated single businesses
  • Generating leads through outbound prospecting, networking, industry events, and partnerships
  • Developing tailored pitches and presentations that align with partner needs and strategic objectives
  • Managing the full partner lifecycle - from outreach and qualification to proposal, negotiation, and onboarding

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in developing and managing strategic B2B partnerships
  • Strong market research and analytical abilities to identify and assess new partner and segment opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience creating tailored, value-driven partner pitches
  • Experience managing the full partner lifecycle - from initial outreach to onboarding and long-term relationship management
