Job summary

Dott, a leader in shared micromobility, is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee the Germany north region in Berlin. You will guide a local team of Operations Managers and supervisors, manage external partners, and implement KPI-driven strategies to ensure stable regional performance.

You will use Looker, Excel, and AI tools for analytics and drive cross-functional improvements while ensuring compliance with HR, Legal, and Safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations/leadership roles with a record of building high-performing teams.
• Experience in mobility/transport/logistics is preferred.
• Strong people and performance management skills.
• Analytical, data-driven with proficiency in data tools (Excel/Looker/Tableau/SQL).
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Organized, structured, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication in English and German.

• Define and track KPIs; guide teams to meet regional targets and improve performance.
• Provide analytical support using Looker, Excel, and AI tooling to derive insights.
• Ensure product features and operations comply with processes and standards.
• Identify best practices and elevate product feature requirements across markets.
• Drive cross-functional projects and regional planning, including budgeting and tenders.
• Oversee regional P&L, manage costs, and explain variances to the finance team.

THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT DOTT

Location: Berlin, regular visits around the north and west region

Contract: Full-time

• Ops Management: You will lead multiple clusters in the Germany north region. Manage and continuously improve the team of Operations Managers and local supervisors. Our people define the success of our operation: inspire them to go the extra mile.
• Ops Partners Management: External partners are an essential part of our operations. Manage and evolve a portfolio of external operational partners, source, contractualise and onboard.
• KPI tracking: Define Operations Managers’ KPIs, and follow up with them, help the team to define the priorities, with a focus on the highest-impact levers, develop plans to achieve regional targets, and track progress towards the goals that have been set for your region. Ultimately you secure a stable operational performance in your region.
• Analytical support: Provide analytical support to local Operations managers, including the use of Looker, Excel, and extensive AI tooling. Derive insights and action plans from detailed ops metrics analysis
• Product & process compliance: Ensure that new product features and all related operations are rolled out smoothly in local markets and that local ops teams comply with DOTT processes and standards (e.g HR, Legal, Safety)
• Communication & best-practice sharing: Identify and foster best practices across his region and between local markets. Identify, prioritize, and elevate product feature requirements for continuous improvement.
• Ops improvement initiatives: Cross-functional Project management: operations improvement initiatives & innovation fostering through facilitating experiments in local markets
• Region development & planning: Forecasting, budgeting activities, & tender-related activities to ensure sustainable growth
• Revenues & cost tracking: You are responsible for the P&L in your region. Work closely with the controlling department to rein in cost discipline within your scope of operations, and ensure variance to budget is understood and acted upon

You’ll Fit Great With These Skills And Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in operations management, consulting, manufacturing, engineering, or in a startup/entrepreneurial role. With a strong focus on leadership development
• Prior experience in the mobility, transport, or logistics industry (e.g. Uber, Deliveroo) is preferred
• Strong people management and performance management skills
• Analytical & data-driven; knowledge of data tools & visualisers (e.g. Excel/Google Sheets, Claude, Looker, Tableau, Kepler, SQL)
• Previous project management experience is a plus
• Organized and structured mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Conflict management
• Excellent communication skills in English & German (oral and written)
