My client is looking for an experienced Head of Operations Robotics (Hardware/Software (m/f/d) to support in scaling the business.
As the Head of Operations, you will lead the Product Operations Team from Application Engineering, Service & Support and Production Planning to Spare Part Business.
Job functions :
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with business objectives and growth targets
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including supply chain, order fulfilment, production, customer success, and aftersales services
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, productivity, and scalability across all operational areas
- Establish and manage robust supplier relationships, including identification, qualification, contract negotiations, and onboarding
- Implement effective procurement and demand planning processes
- Optimize warehouse operations, focusing on spare parts management and inventory control
- Ensure seamless execution of customer projects from order to delivery and after-sales support
- Implement and refine processes for customer engagement, internal coordination, and production
- Oversee production partnerships, including contract management, quality assurance, and claims resolution
- Lead customer-facing negotiations and issue resolutions
- Implement systems for performance assessment across our deployments
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record in scaling operations in a high-growth technology or robotics environment
- Strong understanding of industrial robotics and automation technologies, and their applications in infield use cases
- Very hands‑on, driven by a getting‑things‑done mindset and a desire for executional excellence
- Exceptional problem‑solving and conceptional skills
- Outstanding leadership abilities with experience in building and motivating cross‑functional teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, internal and external
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master, MBA or other advanced degree of advantage
- Strong communication skills (also written), and business fluent in German and English (C1 level)
- Valid driving license for Germany/EU
- Valid German residency.
