Walker Cole International has been retained to search for a Head of Manufacturing to join a large site of a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

The Head of Manufacturing will be a key member of the Site Leadership Team and lead a large workforce, taking responsibility for the delivery of the operational strategy, driving a high-performance, collaborative culture and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities as the Head of Manufacturing will be:

• Overall responsibility for GMP Manufacturing
• Delivering operational excellence projects
• Lead capex projects for new and existing engineering requirements
• Manage, coach and develop managers

The successful candidate for the Head of Manufacturing position will demonstrate the following:

• Fluent English language skills
• Degree educated
• Lean Six Sigma Black or Green belt would be highly desirable
• Pharmaceutical and/or consumer healthcare manufacturing expertise
• Work experience leading manufacturing teams under GMP compliance
• Previous technical knowledge of oral solid dose, liquids or powders
