As Head of Maintenance and Infrastructure, you will lead and develop high-performing teams across our production and office sites in Kemptthal (Switzerland) and Memmingen (Germany), ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and innovation in a dynamic food production environment. Your mission

• You lead the global Maintenance and Infrastructure function, overseeing teams across multiple production and office sites.

• Depending on the location of the position (Kemptthal or Memmingen), a willingness to travel to the other location is required

• You manage and develop a high-performing team of mechanics, electricians, and facility technicians.

• You ensure 24/7 production readiness through preventive and reactive maintenance activities.

• You oversee building and infrastructure operations to guarantee safe, compliant, and productive working environments.

• You define and implement global maintenance and facility strategies, tools (e.g., CMMS), and KPIs.

• You partner closely with site leads to plan and execute maintenance and facility-related projects.

• You ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety (HACCP), and IFS standards.

• You advise the VP Engineering & Technology and the management team on strategic facility and maintenance investments.

• You lead Capex and Opex budgeting and cost control for infrastructure and maintenance.

• You build and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and service providers.

• You bring a hands-on attitude and actively support the team when needed.

You

• Hold a degree in engineering, facility management, or a comparable technical discipline.

• Bring several years of leadership experience in maintenance, infrastructure, or utilities operations within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in maintenance operations, infrastructure systems, and utilities.

• Show strategic thinking and excellent organizational and leadership skills.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support digital transformation projects.

• Display a high degree of accountability and a hands-on mentality.

• Communicate fluently in English andGerman; any other languages are an advantage.
