Job Description

The Head of Learning Delivery is responsible for implementing our Learning strategy, focusing on building capability, meeting regulatory obligations, and fostering a strong learning culture. You will lead the global learning delivery team and manage related vendors to deliver learning initiatives across the enterprise.

This role is pivotal in leveraging learning to add value to the organization and enabling colleagues to thrive in the future workplace. You will promote learning agility and a learning culture, working closely with the Head Office SME team, business leaders, and divisional specialists to maximize learning opportunities for all employees.

You will support the #AlwaysLearning culture by ensuring learning technologies are accessible, connected, and evolve to support communities of practice. You will also oversee the governance of digital learning content quality and manage internal and external partners to enhance the employee experience with new learning technologies.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver learning services across the enterprise, ensuring safety, cost-efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
  2. Manage service costs, overseeing an annual spend of over £20 million, ensuring relevance and benchmark value.
  3. Translate strategic intent into operational reality in collaboration with Head Office SMEs.
  4. Manage vendor relationships and evolve learning service strategies.
  5. Develop and procure solutions to build enterprise skills, aligned with business priorities.
  6. Enhance the colleague experience related to the 'Leatro' learning brand.
  7. Provide insights and best practices to support skill development through learning.
  8. Ensure compliance of learning solutions with policies and legislation.
  9. Promote understanding of learning offerings across the People Function and develop supporting collateral.
  10. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to reflect learning in the People Deal.
  11. Support the People calendar with high-quality, just-in-time learning solutions, working with Internal Communications.
  12. Ensure colleagues and teams can access and utilize new learning technologies effectively.
  13. Foster a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset, and learning agility.
  14. Make learning solutions easily accessible and integrated into daily workflows, leveraging AI technologies.
  15. Monitor engagement, reach, and impact of learning initiatives.
  16. Create and share testimonials and communicate learning successes across the enterprise.
  17. Ensure equitable access to learning for all employee groups, including shop floor and field-based colleagues.
  18. Build learning metrics and provide ongoing data insights to divisions and functions.
