Job summary

Scalable Capital in Munich is seeking an experienced IT leader to define and execute the company’s IT roadmap, manage cloud environments, and oversee 1st and 2nd level support for internal staff.

You will work closely with Security and cross-functional teams, lead a team of at least 5, and help maintain robust infrastructure while promoting technology excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT operations with leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to shape and execute IT strategy.
• Direct leadership of teams of at least 5 people.
• Hands-on cloud administration across Mac/Windows environments.
• Strong foundational knowledge of network security and IAM.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s IT roadmap.
• Administer, optimize, and maintain cloud environments (e.g., M365 / Google Workspace / AWS).
• Serve as primary contact for internal tech issues and onboarding.

Job Description

• IT Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the company’s IT roadmap
• Cloud Administration & Maintenance: Administer, optimize, and maintain our cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace / AWS), ensuring high availability and executing routine system updates
• 1st & 2nd Level Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal tech issues—handling everything from daily helpdesk tickets and smooth employee onboarding to advanced hardware and software troubleshooting
• Security Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our Security team to maintain robust infrastructure, enforce access controls, and uphold company-wide security standards

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: Extensive experience in IT operations, with a proven track record in shaping IT strategy or taking on leadership responsibility
• Leadership Skills: Proven track record in directly leading and developing teams of at least 5 people.
• Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience in cloud administration as well as providing 1st and 2nd level IT support across [Mac/Windows] environments
• Security Mindset: Strong foundational knowledge of network security, identity management (IAM), and cybersecurity best practices
• Soft Skills & Mindset: A proactive "player-coach" mentality, excellent communication skills, and a strong passion for helping people and driving tech excellence
