About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of IT Europe to oversee IT operations across multiple sites in Germany and the Czech Republic. This leadership role is crucial for ensuring efficient IT services, cost optimization, and spearheading key technology projects in alignment with global business objectives. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8 IT professionals and collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive IT innovation, with a focus on SAP and MES systems.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Leadership & Team Management – Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing European IT team.
• IT Operations Oversight – Ensure high service levels and system reliability across all European sites.
• Strategic IT Budgeting – Optimize IT budgets, balancing cost control with strategic technology investments.
• Business-Critical IT Projects – Drive key IT initiatives, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• System Enhancements & Maintenance – Oversee SAP and MES systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaboration with Global Leadership – Work with the Global VP - IT to align regional IT strategies with global business goals.
• Compliance & Security – Ensure adherence to data protection laws, industry standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or a related field.

5+ years of IT leadership experience within an international company (automotive or manufacturing preferred).

Strong leadership & people management skills, with experience leading regional IT teams.

Deep expertise in SAP and MES systems to support business processes.

Strategic mindset with hands-on project management skills.

Expertise in IT security, infrastructure, and compliance.

Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.

Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Willingness to travel within Europe as needed.
