Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the architecture strategy for EnBW’s trading function, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Review current architecture, identify areas for improvement, and propose modernization solutions.
• Develop and own the architecture strategy, ensuring future-proof systems.
• Collaborate with system owners and business units for continuous improvement.
• Create high-level technical designs and coordinate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and network teams.
• Modernize technology stack with innovative solutions and vendor products.
• Oversee integration of trading systems, including ETRM platforms like Endur.
• Lead architectural reviews of ongoing projects.
• Stay updated on industry technologies and trends.

Ideal Profile:

• Proven experience as Solution or Enterprise Architect in a commodity trading environment.
• Deep knowledge of commodities trading processes.
• Experience with large-scale transformative programs, preferably greenfield.
• Expertise in trading systems, especially ETRM platforms such as Endur.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture (Azure, AWS) and messaging patterns (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Service Bus).
• Familiarity with API stacks, data warehousing, and reporting frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies and modern tech stacks.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within large teams.
